Lendmark launched VIP in 2015 to formalize its veterans’ initiatives and programs, recognize its military workforce, and ensure that veterans and their spouses and caretakers would feel a genuine sense of belonging in our workplace. Through VIP, Lendmark blends internal processes to drive successful talent acquisition with external partnerships with military-affiliated organizations to stay abreast of best practices for military-friendly employers.

We proudly employ approximately 150 employees who proudly serve our country.




OUR PLEDGE

The commitment of Lendmark Financial Services, LLC., a Military Friendly Employer, since commencing operations in August 1996 has been to support and hire qualified veterans, military spouses and caretakers. The Veterans Integration Program (VIP) launched January 2015 and expanded our military program. Our standard of excellence has impacted military families who chose Lendmark as their Employer of Choice.

Lendmark partners with various career services, colleges/universities and military partners to sustain our commitment. From all levels within the organization, we collectively salute and support our military workforce with deserved respect and gratitude. We value our VIPs and the backgrounds they possess which diversify and enrich our culture.


MILITARY PARTNERSHIPS

VIP is inclusive of veterans and supportive military spouses and caretakers. To execute a strategy consisting of engagements with various military groups and employer resource organizations, Lendmark has established alliances with several organizations. VIP RECOGNITION

VIPs are integral to the success of Lendmark and their contributions for our nation are beyond measure. The dedication to support the mission of our Armed Forces is an important acknowledgment.

Through our military program, we recognize VIPs with special tributes. In observance of military recognition event dates, it is customary for our VIPs to receive recognition gifts on behalf of the company.

SUPPORTING OUR VETERANS

 

As a Military Friendly Employer (MFE), Lendmark is committed to Employer Support of The Guard and Reserve.
Our CEO Statement of Support reflects our alliance to support the critical demands and readiness of our National Guard and Reservist.

Military Duty
In accordance with the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA), Lendmark understands mandates at local, state and national levels that employees must comply with military orders.

VIP Buddy Program
To assist with post-deployment and/or re-employment transition into the civilian sector, Lendmark offers networking opportunities which allows VIPs to partner with new hire VIPs to better learn the organization and culture of the company. These relationships are voluntary but encouraged to foster engagement for a positive addition to the new hire onboarding experience. VIPs are not mentors, immediate supervisors to other VIP new hires nor hold positions in the new hire reporting hierarchy. The Buddy Program includes veterans and military spouse representation. The alignment is intended to provide a personal contact for questions, etc. The Buddy Program does not replace direct supervision of the manager of record.

Veterans Forum
The Veterans Forum is comprised of employees who are military veterans to help maximize visibility (internally and externally) of VIP and expand the network to encourage participation of military spouses and caretakers. VIPs are encouraged to engage Human Resources for perspective and guidance prior to decisions resulting from quarterly internal meetings.
